No cell phone reception is available, but free Wi-Fi can be accessed at Gannabos Farm.

PLEASE NOTE: There will be a limit set on the number of photographers and/or visitors entering the quiver tree forest between 18:00 and 06:00. A permit from the owners will be required at a cost of R250 per person should you be keen to experience the forest between these hours. The guests at Gannabos and Kareeboom have the privilege to come and go as they please, free of charge.

Nearby the Old School House are two camping sites - each with their own, separate ablution facilities. These sites cater for two separate offroad caravans/bush lapas. Facilities include a toilet, basin and shower, with a gas geyser providing hot water.
Should two families travelling together be interested in using the camping facilities, they have the option of booking only one ablution block which they would be able to share.

There are no electricity points available. Wood will be provided for braai/fires.
There is a separate sink for washing dishes and laundry.
